ADDIDEX CONNECT

Addidex Connect is a practitioner‑led symposium focused on real robotic 3D printing workflows.

Industrial Scale Context
01 / Why Now

The ecosystem is growing fast, but we’re still isolated.

We see incredible pockets of innovation in robotic AM, but very little cross-pollination. Everyone is reinventing the same wheels, solving the same toolpath issues, and hitting the same material constraints in silence.

This is the tension that makes the event necessary.

02 / The Problem

Workflows are fragile. Knowledge is scattered.

There are no standards yet. Designers don't know the machine limits. Integrators don't know the design intent. Handovers are messy, and "it works on my machine" is the industry standard.

  • Fragile data chains
  • Missing shared references
  • Isolated success stories
03 / The Mission

Share best practices so we can build faster, together.

Our goal is to establish a higher baseline for everyone. If we share the "boring" parts—workflow, safety, data structure—we can all focus on the interesting parts: design and application.

Open Knowledge

We prioritize speakers who open-source their findings over those who protect their IP.

04 / The Workflow

Idea → Print.

The handovers are the story.

DesignToolpathRobot CodePrintingRepeatability

We zoom in on the handovers. What data is lost? What assumptions are made? How do we validate geometry before it hits the slicer?

Workflow Context
05 / Design Matters

Design is the lever.

Shit in is shit out.

Design choices decide everything downstream. If the geometry isn't rationalized for layer deposition, the best robot in the world can't save it. We bridge the gap between "design intent" and "production reality."

06 / Who it’s for

Who’s in the room.

Practitioners, plus serious adopters who want to learn properly. We explicitly welcome architects and interior designers—but you have to be ready for the real talk, not the sales pitch.

07 / The Rhythm

How the
days unfold.

Addidex Connect is designed as a working rhythm, not a packed conference schedule.

We deliberately leave space for conversation, exploration, and shared work.

The exact program will evolve with the community.

This structure gives you an idea of the pace, not a fixed script.

Day 1

Connecting & Context

Open doors, slow start

Coffee, arrivals, informal conversations. The stage opens later on purpose.

Shared context

A small number of practitioner-led presentations to align the room.

Panel & discussion

Open conversation around workflows, challenges, and what’s not working yet.

Long lunch + workshops

Lunch is part of the program. Workshops, demos, and informal sessions run in parallel.

Campus crawl & material labs

Explore the AM Campus, production spaces, and material experiments together.

Wrap-up & social time

We end the day early enough to keep energy high and conversations going.

Day 2

Going Deeper

Slow restart

Coffee, follow-ups, one-on-one conversations.

Deep dives & case-driven talks

Fewer presentations, more depth.

Hands-on sessions

Toolpaths, materials, workflows, and real examples.

Shared reflections

What did we learn? What should change? What can we build together?

Closing drinks

Time to connect without rushing or overstaying. (Around 16:30)

08 / Format Rules

How we keep it real.

  • No Stage Selling

Contribution over promotion. Leave the pitch deck at home.

  • Community First

We are here to build the network, not just exchange business cards.

  • Radical Integrity

Share the failures too. We learn more when things break.

Community Context
09 / Themes

What we go deep on.

We touch every part of the chain, but always tied back to workflow.

10 / The Campus

Where it happens.

AM Campus MRA
Amsterdam Region

Real machines, real constraints. We are on the factory floor, not in a hotel ballroom.

11 / Contribute

Open Call.

Share what worked, what failed, and what you learned.

Since speakers are TBD, this becomes the engine. We value process over polish. If you have a real story about a workflow breakthrough (or disaster), we want to hear it.

Deadline: March 15th, 2026

12 / Access

Tickets.

Coming Soon

We’re keeping it accessible for designers and builders. Food and drinks included.

* Honest pricing. Designer budgets matter.
