2. What Data We Collect & Why
We only collect information necessary to provide our services and foster the robotic 3D printing ecosystem:
Email Subscriptions & Field Notes
Data: Email address, first name, last name, and organization (optional).
Purpose: Sending low-frequency event updates, open call notifications, ecosystem news, and technical Field Notes.
Legal basis: Consent (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email).
Map Directory Submissions
Data: Organization name, location, robotic capabilities, website, and representative contact details.
Purpose: Publishing verified industrial capabilities to the Addidex Map directory.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest & consent.
Event Participation & Open Calls
Data: Full name, email, job title, company, billing information, presentation proposals, dietary requirements (for catering), and badge preferences.
Purpose: Organizing the event, issuing tickets, managing logistics, and evaluating session proposals.
Legal basis: Performance of contract (event ticket) and consent.
3. Third-Party Services & Embeds
To provide our platform features, we work with trusted external service providers who process data strictly under confidentiality agreements:
- Brevo (Sendinblue): Manages email lists, double opt-in verification, and email distribution. Data is stored in secure EU data centers.
- PamPam: Powers the interactive geographic Addidex Map iframe.
- Tally: Secure form processing for open calls, partner intake, and directory submissions.
- Google reCAPTCHA: Protects our signup forms against automated abuse and spam bots.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable tax and accounting laws. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe or request erasure.
